Welcomme to Unike Finnskogen AB
Luxury cabins in the middle of the forest with a private spa area!
The cabins and private spa area are very remote, and visits from wild animals are common. If you are looking for winter or summer activities such as snowmobile tours, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, fishing, military vehicle tours, shooting, canoeing or general nature experiences, we can help you with guided tours.
Welcome to an experience in a unique historical environment. Cultural monuments are closely spaced in the large, quiet forest areas. Finnskogen is known as the deep forests, and the rustling of the treetops will give you a sense of peace in body and mind. Here you get outdoor life with a comfort guarantee.
In Finnskogen, you encounter large rolling, forest-covered hills, elongated marsh areas, and lakes and ponds that sparkle like pearls in the landscape. All four of the large predators have habitats in these forest areas. If you’re observant while out and about, you might see tracks from bears, wolves, wolverines, or lynxes.
Finnskogleden is a marked route that was established in 1992. The route takes you a full 214 kilometers through this beautiful forest landscape on both sides of the national border.
Almost everywhere you can find old cultural monuments from the Forest Finnish culture, through hundreds of place names of Finnish origin among other things.

Finnskogen
Nature and the cultural area
Finnskogen is the exciting natural and cultural area on both sides of the national border in Innlandet and Värmland. The name Finnskogen originates from the 16th-17th centuries when the area was populated by immigrants from Savolax and Tavastland in Finland. Together with a rich animal and bird life, the element of cultural heritage makes the Finnskogen an exciting terrain to walk in, both for those who want to walk far and families with small children who want shorter trips.
In these forests, people have walked the paths long before borders and nations existed.
